On April 11, Clarence Chan participates the 2025 High-Quality Development of Industrial Overseas Expansion and China-Malaysia International High-Tech Eco-Industrial Park Signing Ceremony held in Shenzhen.
Acting Chairman Clarence Chan signed the "China-Malaysia International High-Tech Eco-Industrial Park Agreement" at the ceremony. This ceremony aimed to strengthen industrial and technological exchanges between China and Malaysia, enhance cooperation in industrial supply chains, and promote high-quality development in both countries.
According to the agreement, China and Malaysia will deepen cooperation in the fields of industry, trade, and technology. Specifically, the Chinese side will organize resources from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and other domestic social resources to implement project planning and top-level design. Both sides will jointly promote the construction, operation, and management of the Shenzhen International High-Tech Industrial Eco-Park and the PENTAS Industrial City Green Management Industrial Park, both located in Selangor, Malaysia.
The parks will operate with a "Shenzhen R&D + Malaysia Manufacturing" division of labor system at their core, adopting a "Two Countries, Two Parks" model. They will focus on attracting strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, new energy, and high-end equipment into the ecosystem. Additionally, business operations will be facilitated by introducing quality management systems, a cross-border digital customs platform for "single declaration, dual clearance," and establishing a special support fund for small and medium-sized enterprises.
