In January 2026, Jacky Sit, President of the Association of Innovation Technology Finance and Market (AITFM), led a delegation to Malaysia. During the visit, the delegation held high-level meetings with Dato' Seri Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport; Dato' Capt. K. Subramaniam, General Manager of the Port Klang Authority; and YBhg. Datuk Dr. Shahrazat binti Haji Ahmad, Deputy Secretary General of Treasury (Investment), Ministry of Finance.
In the meeting with Secretary General Dato' Seri Jana Santhiran Muniayan and Dato' Capt. K. Subramaniam, General Manager of the Port Klang Authority, both parties engaged in an in-depth exchange regarding the role of transportation in empowering Malaysia’s development, port construction, and logistics upgrades. There was a mutual consensus to explore modernization pathways for Malaysia’s logistics infrastructure to further strengthen the country’s role as a regional economic and trade hub.

The President and delegation subsequently met with Deputy Secretary General YBhg. Datuk Dr. Shahrazat binti Haji Ahmad. The discussions centered on China-Malaysia investment cooperation and the optimization of cross-border investment facilitation. The dialogue focused on economic synergy and financial empowerment within Southeast Asia and Malaysia, exploring how cross-border investments can enhance Malaysia’s overall competitiveness.
This series of meetings has established a solid foundation and opened new opportunities for long-term collaboration. It further expands the breadth and depth of the Association’s participation in regional economic and trade initiatives.
